Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of driving lesson services arranged through Good 2 Go Ltd ("Good 2 Go", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website, booking driving lessons, purchasing a lesson package, or using any services coordinated by Good 2 Go, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all learners who engage with our services whether through our website, telephone, social media platforms, or any other communication channel.

2. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions: "Learner" refers to the individual purchasing or receiving driving instruction. "Instructor" refers to an independent approved driving instructor providing lessons arranged by Good 2 Go. "Lesson Package" refers to a bundle of prepaid driving lesson hours purchased by a learner. "Driving Test" refers to the practical driving test administered by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

3. Nature of the Service

Good 2 Go operates as a coordination and administration platform connecting learners with approved independent driving instructors. Good 2 Go manages bookings, payment collection, administration, and customer support. Driving instruction itself is delivered by independent instructors who operate under their own professional responsibilities while working within Good 2 Go's standards.

4. Website Use

By using the Good 2 Go website, learners agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse the platform. Users must not attempt to disrupt the operation of the website or access information belonging to other users.

5. Booking Lessons

Learners may book driving lessons through our website or through direct communication with our team. Lesson times are agreed between the learner and the assigned instructor and are subject to instructor availability and scheduling constraints.

6. Payment Terms

Lesson packages must normally be paid for in advance unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing. Good 2 Go reserves the right to suspend lesson scheduling or cancel bookings where payment obligations have not been fulfilled.

7. Lesson Packages

Lesson packages provide learners with a set number of hours of driving instruction. Packages are intended as a training programme but do not guarantee that the learner will reach test standard within the number of hours purchased.

8. Test Day Allocation

Where a learner intends to use the instructor's vehicle for the driving test, two hours of the purchased lesson package will be allocated for the test appointment. This includes one hour of instruction immediately prior to the test and one hour for the use of the instructor's vehicle during the test.

9. Example of Package Allocation

For example, a learner purchasing a 30-hour lesson package will typically receive 28 hours of driving lessons, with two hours reserved for the driving test appointment. These hours cannot be exchanged for standard lesson time.

10. Passing the Test Early

If a learner passes their driving test before completing all hours included within their package, any remaining unused hours will not be refunded or transferred.

11. Failing the Driving Test

If a learner fails their driving test, any remaining lesson hours may continue to be used for further training with the same instructor or another instructor arranged by Good 2 Go where possible.

12. Refund Policy

Lesson packages are generally non-refundable once lessons have commenced. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Good 2 Go.

13. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not normally be issued where unused hours remain due to passing the driving test early, learner unavailability, repeated cancellations, dissatisfaction with test results, or failure to follow instructor guidance.

14. Cancellation Policy

Learners must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full.

15. Late Arrival

If a learner arrives late for a scheduled lesson, the instructor will wait for a reasonable period but the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time.

16. Lesson Validity

Lesson packages must normally be completed within six months from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Good 2 Go reserves the right to expire unused lesson hours after this period.

17. Instructor Availability

Good 2 Go will attempt to maintain the same instructor throughout the learner's training. However instructors may become unavailable due to illness, relocation, schedule changes, or leaving the network.

18. Instructor Replacement

Where an instructor becomes unavailable, Good 2 Go will attempt to arrange a replacement instructor. A change of instructor does not entitle the learner to a refund.

19. Instructor Professional Judgement

Driving instructors may advise learners regarding their readiness for the practical driving test. Such advice is based on professional judgement and experience and does not guarantee that the learner will pass the test.

20. Refusal of Test Vehicle

Instructors reserve the right to refuse the use of their vehicle for a driving test if they believe the learner is not sufficiently prepared or if allowing the learner to proceed would create a safety risk.

21. Learner Responsibilities

Learners must behave responsibly during lessons and follow the guidance of their instructor at all times.

22. Driving Licence Requirement

Learners must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it to the instructor when requested.

23. Eyesight Requirement

Learners must meet the legal eyesight requirements for driving as defined by UK driving regulations.

24. Medical Conditions

Learners must disclose any medical condition or medication that could affect their ability to drive safely.

25. Alcohol and Drugs

Lessons will not take place if a learner is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Lessons cancelled for this reason will be charged in full.

26. Behaviour

Learners must treat instructors respectfully. Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour may result in termination of lessons without refund.

27. Vehicle Care

Learners must treat the instructor's vehicle with care and follow all safety instructions.

28. Vehicle Damage

Learners may be liable for repair costs if damage is caused through reckless or deliberate actions.

29. Weather Conditions

Lessons may be rescheduled if severe weather conditions make driving unsafe.

30. Traffic Conditions

Traffic delays or road closures may affect the content or duration of lessons.

31. Vehicle Breakdown

In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the instructor will arrange a replacement lesson where possible.

32. Learning Pace

Every learner progresses at a different rate. Additional lessons beyond those included in a package may be required.

33. No Guarantee of Passing

Good 2 Go and its instructors cannot guarantee that a learner will pass the practical driving test.

34. DVSA Responsibility

Good 2 Go is not responsible for test cancellations, delays, or rescheduling carried out by the DVSA.

35. Payment Disputes

If a learner initiates a payment dispute or chargeback through their bank or payment provider, Good 2 Go reserves the right to suspend services and pursue recovery of fees.

36. Complaints Procedure

Complaints should be submitted within 48 hours of the issue occurring so that they can be investigated promptly.

37. Dispute Resolution

Good 2 Go will review complaints fairly and attempt to resolve disputes within a reasonable timeframe.

38. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws and the Good 2 Go Privacy Policy.

39. Amendments to Terms

Good 2 Go reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary.

40. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

41. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

42. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the learner and Good 2 Go regarding driving lesson services.

43. Website Availability

Good 2 Go does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of its website and services.

44. Force Majeure

Good 2 Go shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control.

45. Acceptance of Terms

By booking lessons or purchasing a lesson package through Good 2 Go, the learner confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
